The idea for this class began when I shared my song Hu Ray with a group that loved the idea of a 'gratitude hokey pokey' with an infectious beat. My playlist is growing, and it's been fun gathering oldies and new songs to share. Where could we dance?
It turns out that Steve and Maria at the beautiful Stationery Factory in Dalton are open to us movers and shakers. The floors are wooden, and the light is lovely and welcoming.
I've been leading groups in rhythm and movement for the past eighteen years, and would like to share my love of tai chi, Five Rhythms and yoga dance. The name earth dances rings true, as my goal is to feel grounded and cultivate qualities of endurance, resilience and strength. When we reconnect with our own rhythm and the synergy of the group's rhythm, new seeds are planted.
